![]() I was really curious about the new Bucees opened in Al. I've never waited longer than about 2 minutes at any bucees register. They offer free samples of the goodies the cook or prepare on site. They are friendly, they walk the property talking to folks and seeing if they can do anything to make the visit any better. ![]() #5 The staff at these Bucees are there to help make sure your visit is a good one. Each of these sections ALONE are larger than most Quick Trips I've been in. Another different section offers higher end gifts such as jewelry, leather goods, home decor and clothing geared towards adults. On section of the store is a novelty gift sections for kids with things like Bucees tshirts, which are a favorite for adults as well, toys, souvineers, etc. #4 They offer both novelty gifts and higher end gifts. #3 They offer snacks on a grand scale, not just prepackaged garbage but freshly made BBQ, jerky, pastries, kolaches(you may have to Google Kolaches but if you haven't ever had them your in for a treat) ![]() #2 They have the absolute cleanest and best decorated restrooms of ANY public place I have ever been in.ANY PUBLIC PLACE. #1 Bucees is not a truck stop and they do not allow any big rig parking on the property. We make it a point to visit a couple of different Bucees anytime we are in TX to buy snacks and gifts for friends and family back in Ga.īucees is nothing like Loves or QT or any other place you've ever visited. I have lived in Georgia since 93 so I've witnessed the "rise of Bucees" during my trios back home. But there will always be a concern from all the gas fumes for workers and citizens which is more important. If there is already land that is cleared/vacant, maybe that would be more suitable. There should be some limit on how much destruction one should do for a retail store/gas pumps. Not everything done in one state is suitable in other states. And it is hilly in Georgia so there would a lot of grading/destruction of land and a drainage issue from runoff from the large asphalt surface. To try to install this in Georgia would require a massive amount of tree cutting. The land is rolling hills/flat so not much land is bulldozed and graded to make it level for this. Thus, few, if any, trees are cut down to build this. It is dry with few, if any, trees in the outlying areas - like a prairie. The state has a culture of just making everything bigger and boasting about it. Texas is a large state with vast areas of open land. Unhealthy for customers, workers, and anyone near gas fumes from 100 pumps and when tanker trucks come by for refilling.
